NEW CORONA GUIDELINES FOR CE

As a result of the Corona Virus crisis, the Governor of Iowa has issued a proclamation eliminating all live CE requirements for the next license renewal due on 6/30/2020, and states that you can meet all of your CE requirements using online continuing education.  

Special Requirements:

36 hours must be taken in courses that directly relates to clinical case
management of Chiropractic Patients (Must do at least 20 hours of these
clinical case management of Chiropractic Patients at live, in person events
while you can do 16 Online). Must take a minimum of 2 hours per biennium in
professional boundaries regarding ethical issues related to professional conduct
that may include but are not limited to sexual harassment, sensitivity training
and ethics (see our topics Boundary Training or Ethics for Professionals). Must
take 1 hour in the content of Iowa Administrative Code (see our topic Iowa
Board Administrative Code).

Every five years, a class on child abuse and dependent adult abuse.
